Camping Part Two

The boys and I went camping last week with my cousin + her kids, my aunt/uncle and their friends. It was a great trip, the kids love spending time with their second cousins. They play really well together. My cousin and I joked how much work camping is, but its so worth it for the kids! They LOVE it! We camped at New Brighton State Beach The camp was close Capitola, and right on the beach. At night we could hear the waves crash. 

I arrived first at the camp site, and the boys got to work biking everywhere. We had a great first day, biking, marsh mellows, and lots of jumping on the aero beds! My cousin has an actual plug in her truck which made blowing up the aero beds so easy!! We had a little patch of long grass across from our campsite that I began obsessively taking pics of. I tried to get the kids to play in the grass, go on an adventure in the grass, no such luck! I still had fun capturing the first night of camping on my camera.

The second day we went down to the beach for a whole day of fun. We got there around 10am and didn't leave till 3ish. The kids played and played, jumped in the waves, and tried to boogie board.

We spent a second night at the camp site and headed up quite exhausted! I think the kids fell asleep in the car at 11am. Very successful trip!!!!
