24 Week and Nursery Room Pictures

This morning we got to see the baby on the ultrasound. My mom and Andrew came, which was really fun. This appointment was a follow up to my 20 week ultrasound. Normally I wouldn't have to go back but the doctor felt the stomach was measuring larger then normal. Good news everything is fine, the stomach is still large but measures within the limits. They looked for signs of a blockage in the GI tract, but found nothing. According to the doctor, everything looks perfect.

My mom really enjoyed the ultrasound, but found it difficult to understand what parts we were looking at. It's hard because as the baby grows, you can't see it's full body in the screen its just too big. So you see little parts one at a time, which makes it really hard to tell what you are looking at. I get really confused too, and how many of these things have a I had? At least 8 maybe more.

This weekend we wrapped up a few items in the babies room. Mainly we rented the rug doctor, and cleaned the carpets on Saturday. We set the crib up (pictures below) it looks really good. I'm proud of our craigslist used crib purchase. Its actual wood and wasn't made in China, now that's a miracle. We ordered plantation shutters for the windows, they should be installed in the next couple weeks.

Yeah Migi Pinwheel bedding!!

The re-finished cabinet, we love how it turned out.

23 Week Update

I'm getting a little behind on my weekly updates, I hit 23 weeks even on Monday. I had a Drs. Appointment which went well. I heard the babies heart beat on the Doppler, of course he was moving around a ton and Dr. Joyce commented on how active he is. Every time we go to a ultra sound or Drs appointment, same thing, wow the baby is moving around a lot. I can really feel him all day now. He does some crazy moves in my belly, somersaults or something going on in there. His new thing is he found my bladder and loves to kick it... repeatedly which sends me to the potty much more often.

I am finally getting over my sinus infection and feel so much better.

Vacation Pictures

Here are some pictures from our trip to Canada. We didn't take any until we got to Niagara Falls for our 2nd anniversary. Most of the trip we hung around Hamilton at the house and visited family, it was a great trip!

View from the Canadian side, you can see the little American Flag way far out

All the trees in Canada were so pretty, they actually change color in the fall

Canadian Onesie

While in Canada I looked and looked for a cute Canadian onesie. I couldn't find anything, I really just wanted something plain with the maple leaf on it. I found these cute onesies online, I think I have to order both of them.

The Canadian bacon bit onesie is my favorite by far, Andrew loves bacon bits.

22 week and vacation update

Andrew and I headed to Canada for a 1 week vacation/visit with the family. We got to spend Cananadian Thankgsiving with the family, and one night in Niagra falls for our anniversary.

I will update more with pictures of our trip later.

21 Weeks

Things are moving right along. Our weekends are filled with getting the house ready for baby. We seem to never have enough time to finish our projects before Sunday night hits.

This weekend we attended our friends 30th b-day party. It was really fun! I can't believe our friends are turning 30. This must mean we are turning 30 soon......

Sunday was so busy. We primed the babies room and the cabinet. Then spent 2 hours at our favorite place, HOME DEPOT!! We bought paint for the babies room and a bunch of other stuff. The babies room got painted yesterday, no pictures yet. I think I'm going to wait till its a little more put together. The color is blue, on the light side, don't worry mom! It will look great with the bedding pictured in the previous post.
