The Land

We headed to the Santa Cruz mountains for the day. It was a great trip, hopefully we can camp next time. Here are a few pictures from our outdoor adventure

Heat Wave

We had a couple of really hot days. I dressed Logan in his Heat Wave outfit:

The shorts are from Grandma June and the flip flops are from my friend Jennie. Jennie is as dedicated to wearing flip flops all the time as I am. Logan says Thank you!

Happy 4th of July

We celebrated the 4th in Sonoma with my parents. It was a great time, my parents love being grandparents. Its really fun to watch how excited they are to play with Logan. On Friday we went wine tasting at Artesa and Saturday we went to the Sonoma 4th of July parade. After the parade we hung out at Murphy's pub, listened to live music and watched all the people. It was a good time! blog2

Lots of Firsts

Logan had his first solid food today and his first trip to the pool last week. Both events, huge success! He loves the water just like his mom. Mostly he bobs around with me and sticks his fingers in the pool and then sucks on them. Apparently he has already developed a taste for chlorine. Part of every trip to the pool (we have been twice now) ends in a dunking session, where I submerge Logan's head into the water. This may sound mean, but I swear he likes it. I’m a professional people, I know what I’m doing around the pool : )

Solid food was fun. I was nervous about starting. Honestly it sounded like one more thing I had to do. With me pumping, and giving formula, I’m already a bit overwhelmed! But there was no denying that this little guy was ready. So I bought Oatmeal cereal, I have heard horror stories about rice cereal so we skipped that and went to oatmeal.
