Logan Turns 3!

Logan turned 3 on February 17. He had a great Birthday. His special special day started out with a big pile of gifts for him to open, and then a special breakfast with bacon of course!

Then we were off to Sonoma to ride the train at Train Town, lunch at Mary’s (more gifts) naps at Grandma/Grandpas (um didn’t happen) and special dinner and cake.

Weekends get Crafty

Last weekend, we covered the kitchen table with butcher paper and left it there for two days. The boys painted, colored, did stickers, etc. I don’t mind the mess, I actually really love when the boys get so covered in whatever they are doing that it looks like I need to hose them off! But Dylan, my sweet little one eats everything. I can’t tell you how much paint he ate, its was so gross and we couldn’t stop laughing and taking pictures of him. Its non toxic paint, he seems fine. One day I hope he decides paint is not so great to eat….

Cloud Dough

Anything that can keep an almost 3 year old totally occupied for 2+ hours is pretty awesome. It was Monday, and I did not feel like leaving the house. I found a recipe for Cloud Dough on the net and thought what the heck. As soon as I made it, I knew this was an outside activity. Because the boys were in one spot and so into the cloud dough, I could get out my camera and actually look at the settings while I was taking pictures for once!  

Fireman Logan

We have been watching this show called Fireman Sam. It’s kind of weird, but Logan loves it. He likes to get dressed up in his fire gear and practice putting out fires. This is a picture of him using the fire extinguisher, he had just told me to “Stand back!, watch out for smoke!” I grabbed my camera instead and took a picture of the little cutie.

Today is national pie day ! It also happened to be the day before my pie crust expired. So I made two pies, lemon meringue, and chocolate pudding. I thought it would be fun for the boys to “paint” with the pudding.
