I took a course back in May, Photography 101.Taught by Meg Sexton Photography. I learned so much in one afternoon, but I was still lost. My pictures did get a little better however I still can’t quite figure out how to use my camera. I get really nervous when I’m shooting the boys, they move so fast and never ever do what I want!! But sometimes I take a picture that I am proud of. Like this one of Dylan, I feel like I finally figured out this whole light thing Meg kept talking about…
The day after Boxing Day, the boys and I met my parents for a little adventure. We had plans to hit the Bay Area Discovery Museum, lunch in Sausalito at the Spinnaker and drive to Pescadero for the night. First stop the Bay Area Discovery museum. Very cool place, the boys had a lot of fun, it was such a great spot for both of them to play.
After a little fun at the museum, we met up with family at the Spinnaker. The Spinnaker is a special restaurant, because it was my grandmothers favorite place to lunch. My cousin Russell even ordered a Beef Eater gin on the rocks in memory of her!
One of the sweetest things to happen, Dylan fell asleep on the 5min drive from the Discovery museum to lunch. My dad got him out of the car and he stayed asleep, and continued to sleep on my dad during lunch.
We had a great time at lunch and headed to Pescadero.
We had a great Christmas this year. We enjoyed the moment of it all and forgot to take pictures. The first 10 minutes or so, when Logan saw his gifts Santa brought were very magical. This year Thomas the Train was the big gift for Logan. He received many new trains and destinations. Both boys also love the cardboard stacking blocks from grandma and grandpa. Merry Christmas!
We had a awesome holiday play date! I love hosting this stuff, gives me a great excuse to have fun with crafts and different things for the boys.

On our way home from a fun morning of playing, Dylan fell asleep in the car something he never does. I was so excited to snap a quick picture, love those pinch able cheeks.
I have a lot of pictures of Dylan looking at me in this adoring way, such a mamas boy.
