We had a great time checking out the Dinosaur exhibit at the Lawrence hall of science in Berkeley. Logan was a little frightened by the very realistic dino’s but he handled it well.

Things I don’t want to forget
Last Thursday when we got Logan dressed in the morning, he insisted on wearing his dinosaur pj bottoms to school. We had just been to the Lawrence Hall of Science for the Dino exhibit and he was even more into Dinos than before. Andrew balked at the idea of PJ’s to school. I don’t really care what the kid wears, so to school he went in his PJ bottoms with the promise to Andrew that we would change when we got to school. Once we arrived ALL the teachers complimented Logan on his pants. He was beaming!
I picked him up 3 hours later, and according to Teacher Laura, they didn’t play inside for one minute. They went to the garden and had snack and music time. Enjoyed their lunch on a picnic blanket outside. Logan had an amazing day. The whole way home he talked about his new friend Abigail. “ Mommy, Abigail is a princess, Abigail come over and play with Logan?” Abigail is a very cute 4 year old, I think we have our first crush……

Happy 4th of July
I wanted to make an American flag cake for a BBQ we were going to. Andrew suggested we make a Canadian and American flag cake, FUN! Andrew took the reigns on this one, he had the vision!

Happy Fathers Day
Working on my photography skills with this little photo shoot. Dylan was easy peasy, Logan required much bribing with jelly beans to get him to hold the D, make the D face the camera at the right angle etc etc.
Mexico 2011 Sara and Brian Get Married
We traveled to the Rivera Maya at the end of April to watch Sara and Brian get married. It was a great trip, and we are so happy we made the trek.
Traveling with a 4 month old and a 2 year old wasn’t easy, but it was worth it. The flight to Cancun was a little under 5 hours, and the flight home was 6 hours. The boys did well considering everything. When you travel with kids, you often get pushed to the front of lines for security and customs. That helped us so much!!
Once we arrived at the resort, it was beautiful. We stayed at an all inclusive resort, which was awesome with kids. The food was actually really good. Our room was right next to Andrew’s mom and dad which was fabulous!
We spent the week swimming, swimming and more swimming! Logan loved going from the pool to the beach, back to the pool, and to the ice cream machine. We let him eat whatever he wanted since it was vacation!
Dylan got a little pool action, but he spent the first part of the trip sick, and all he wanted was his momma. Once he got better, he loved being passed around to all the wonderful family members. But his favorite spot was sleeping on someone's chest by the pool. I think that was Grandma June’s favorite spot too. 
The wedding was beautiful, right on the beach. Logan was the ring bearer, Andrew walked him down the aisle. He was adorable! 
Andrew and I went out one night to the adults only restaurant at the resort. It was SO much fun for us. The restaurant was called Le Chique, the food was hard to describe. It was a play on popular dishes but presented in a different way. They had a very clever dish called the scotch brite sponge pictured below. It was a fun and exciting meal, very unexpected for an all inclusive resort.
