Easing into my new “role”

It’s been an official week since my last day of work and my new role as a stay at home mom.

There have been ups:

And downs:

And lots and lots of in between.

Twice a week I work at the day care for the Daily Method in the area to trade for free classes. Its really a win win and has been so nice this last week. Most days are filled with errands or an activity in the morning, home for lunch, afternoon nap (for both of us), afternoon activity, dinner, bath and bed time. Overall its been really fun to have FUN with Logan. By the time I put him to bed, I'm exhausted!

I will say by the time Andrew gets home I have to talk to him for at least 5min without catching a breath or letting him get a word in edgewise. I need that 1-1 adult time.

Play dates anyone??? Call me :-)

This baby LOVES watermelon

Wait what baby am I talking about? Logan is a toddler now not a baby….

That's right folks, I'm pregnant again. Logan’s baby brother or sister is due November 18. I know your trying to do the math, so I will do it for you. They will be 21 months apart people, yes it was planned.

In many ways this feels JUST like my pregnancy with Logan. I have been quite sick but not as sick as with Logan. Thankful for that because chasing around a toddler and multiple trips to the bathroom just don’t go together. The one thing that is quite different is my need for watermelon. I could eat it all day and all night. Its SO good!!! I think this baby will grow very well with my strict watermelon diet. Yum!

Take that Blackberry!

Over Easter weekend we visited my parents. For the first day Logan walked around with one of my dads business cards and his old Blackberry. Eventually the blackberry lost its luster and ended up in the dogs water bowl.  

It least is wasn’t one of our iphones!!!

Easter Boy

I’m not good at Holidays. My inability to pick out special outfits, or remembering to take lots of pictures shows!

But I did manage to take a couple of Logan “hunting” for eggs. Dang he moves fast and he's hard to photograph!

We had fun celebrating Weezy’s first bday. Here are a couple pics of Logan/Matteo/Weezy. Weezy did get into her cupcake BIG TIME but Logan was having a melt down and we had to leave!
